Araliya Exporter bags another NCE Award

We take this opportunity to thank the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka for conducting the 16th Annual NCE Export Award for the year 2007. Araliya Exporter (Pvt) Ltd. was given the Silver Award under the small category of the Agriculture Non Traditional sector.

Araliya Exporter (Pvt) Ltd; was incorporated on 25th August, 1999, with the prime objective of exporting Araliya brand products to cater countries with large expatriate Sri Lankan and South Asian population, providing consumers in these countries, with an opportunity to purchase their favourite Araliya range of products, which they have been accustomed to at home at their door step.

The range of food consists of all types of rice in 1Kg, 5Kg, 10Kg and 25 Kg bags, canned fish, chutneys, curries, curry/chili powder, pickles, juices & jams, sambols, sauce, fried fish in bottle and cans, dry fish in packets, rice flour, treacle and sweets.

The main countries that we are targeting at present are Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Italy, USA & UAE. Due to the hygienically packed, quality and quantity of the items, we are able to ship full container load of items every month. Due to the wider range of products that we carry the importer has the option ,of deciding the products that will benefit the consumer and suite the taste buds of the individuals of that particular country. Also any new product requested by the importer whether large or small, we are able to satisfy their needs, without any fuss. It is because of all these factors we are still in the market, internationally and gaining momentum.

The company's phenomenal success is based on commitment and personalized service of its management and staff. At this juncture we cannot forget our dedicated rural farmers from whom we purchased the raw materials for which a part of the success is deemed to their untiring efforts too.

Araliya expands its horizen

In order to expand its’ food processing department, Araliya Exporter has started constructing a state-of-the-art factory and warehousing complex. This complex once completed, will host a large area for food processing as well as packaging. Located at Panaluwa industrial complex with an area spanning over 20,000 sq.ft., this factory will generate a new wave of jobs in the area. With the commencement of full operations at this warehousing complex, scheduled to start in 2009, the Company looks forward to providing its customers with a superior level of service.
